What is Belbin GetSet?
GetSet is our “tailored for youth” version of the standard Belbin reports that have been designed for students or those who have little experience of the workplace.
Belbin GetSet comprises of an online questionnaire, resulting in a report and workbook. The programme also provides supporting material, such as lesson plans and slides.
The Belbin GetSet workbook and programme helps young people and students learn about themselves and their behaviours to give them the confidence to project themselves in a positive way. It shows them where their strengths lie and what they have to offer now and in the future, building their confidence, promoting self-understanding and wellbeing.
From applying for a graduate programme or composing a personal statement for university/college applications, to improving wellbeing and teamworking, Belbin GetSet will help.

What Belbin GetSet Can Do
Belbin GetSet gives young people the edge. In an increasingly competitive educational and working environment, that’s just what they need.
Belbin GetSet offers young people a way to describe the unique qualities they have to offer – a language to use about themselves, which will resonate with professionals and help to enhance their career prospects.
Belbin GetSet can help our youth with group work, study skills, their wellbeing, communication, problem solving, self-confidence as well as improving their own learning and performance.
“The Belbin GetSet experience for learners seeking career advice is valuable in that the results speak from various lenses. This means that the learner gains insight into their own perceptions of their strengths, as well as the strengths others see in them. This process provides for a more enlightened and realistic overall profile for choosing their career pathways and growth plan.”

How It Works
1. Email Invitation
Each participant is sent an e-mail with a link to complete their questionnaire. We’ll set you up with everything you need to do this.
2. Complete the questionnaire online
The questionnaire takes around 20 minutes to complete and asks the individual to answer questions on how they tend to behave in certain situations.
3. Request feedback from others
Upon completion of the questionnaire, individuals are prompted to invite up to 6 friends, who know them well, to complete a quick 5-minute questionnaire about them. The request for feedback from others is optional.
4. Receive the report
The reports can be e-mailed directly to the participant, to you, or both. The report comes in a workbook, giving detailed personal guidance and advice based on the individual’s Team Role behaviours.
5. Complete the workbook
The workbook guides the individual through the report, helping them reflect on the information contained within it, and compile a personal statement at the end.
6. Lesson plans and slides
Use our comprehensive lesson plans and slides as part of your own Belbin GetSet session, to enhance and embed learning and development, or let the Belbin SA team run it for you!
“Once again, very valuable, especially the Belbin assessment was a new behavioural test and it was good to view my behaviour from another perspective.”
